Organization Details: IKEOHA-HERITAGE DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION is a non-profit and non-political organization registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). We are dedicated to community development initiatives, violence-free environments, children and gender protection, peace advocacy, and environmental protection.
Donations: The organization accepts donations to support its humanitarian services and charitable activities. Donors may specify the purpose of their donations within the organization’s programs.
Trustees: The organization is governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for overseeing the activities and objectives of the foundation. Trustees are appointed through a General Meeting with a 2/3 majority vote.
Meetings: Various meetings are held within the organization to ensure effective administration and decision-making, including General Monthly Meetings, Annual General Meetings, and Board of Trustees Meetings.
Sources of Income: The sources of income for the organization include registration fees, general collections, donations, special levies, and monthly subscriptions.
Funds Management: All funds received by the organization are to be applied towards achieving the conditions and objectives of the foundation as stated in the constitution. Proper accounting and auditing practices are followed to ensure transparency.
Amendment of Constitution: Any alterations to the organization’s constitution must be approved at a General Meeting by a simple majority of members and the Commission.
Liquidation/Dissolution: In the event of liquidation or dissolution, any remaining property or funds shall be transferred to institutions with similar objectives or charitable causes.
Trustee and Secretary Details: The organization’s Trustees and Secretary play crucial roles in ensuring the effective governance and management of the foundation.
Due Date of Accounts: The due date for the organization’s accounts is set for December 31, 2023.
